WHT PR1 Falcon (cont.)
Construction Details

1.) PR1 parts are cut from a low resonance HDF using CNC Precision Technology.

2.) Internal walls are lead lined first then treated with bitumen and MIS (Multipurpose Isolation Solution).
Lead lining is not a new process and it has been known to loudspeaker makers for years. Unfortunately when mass production was introduced to the lead lining became almost impossible to apply and became very costly for the audio industry.

Lead is not only the best damping material but lead lined enclosures are truly keeping the signals below 120 Hz inside the box. An ordinary non-lined box will act more like no enclosure at all for all the frequencies below  the 120 Hz which will effect the image.

3.) Jarrah scoop is also filled with lead and other sound absorbent materials.
