WHT PR1 MKII FALCON The PR1 MKII combines a very unique blend of bass reflector and unconventional rear loading without the traditional cupped-hands colorations or slow, ill-defined bass typical of all ported designs. The main driver is a custom-built 8" unit of our own design mated to the Neo ribbon. At 43" x 11" x 14" HxWxD, the dimensions are deliberately living-room friendly while the combination of piano-gloss lacquer on the sides, real black leather on top and front and exotic red Jarrah wood for the scoop will appeal to even jaded interior decorators.

1.) PR1 MKII parts are cut from a low resonance HDF using CNC Precision Technology.
2.) Internal walls are lead lined first then treated with bitumen and MIS (Multipurpose Isolation Solution).
4.) WHT own 8" woofer is designed to work with special phase plug and hand made minimal crossover. Point to point silver annealed wiring is used to provide maximum transparency speed and accuracy when coupling with modified ribbon tweeter.

About Jarrah wood: Jarrah [Eucalyptus Marginata] stock is composed of a mix of Jarrah and Karri wood, two species so closely related as to, shy of DNA testing, be almost impossible to tell apart. Australian builders have used both woods inter-changeably for over a hundred years. Jarrah and Karri trees are majestic, standing over 245 feet in height, with trunk diameters of up to 10 feet. They are the tallest trees in Western Australia where they dominate the forests. <Excerpted from A Field Guide to Australian Trees by Ivan Holliday, 3rd edition, New Holland Publishers -Australia, Pty Ltd. 2002.>
